Company History

Quality Care Cleaning started out in 1986 in Staten Island NY with a vacuum cleaner, a bucket, a mop and one man’s desire to make a decent living.  Nestor Quaas had put flyers on cars, homes and an ad in the newspaper for cleaning houses and offices. As the year went by people started recommending him to others because of his Dependability, Honesty and Quality work. A few months later, Nestor purchased a minivan and took a trip to Indianapolis to learn about the carpet cleaning industry.  He purchased his first carpet cleaning equipment shortly after the class. He then hired individuals to perform house cleaning and carpet cleaning. In 1990,  the business moved to Freehold, NJ and started to service the Monmouth county area. Since then, Nestor has had the opportunity to expand the business by hiring qualified employees and an administrative staff that helped it grow to what it is today.

As President & CEO of Quality Care Cleaning for 35+ years, Nestor is responsible for the success and growth of the Quality Care and the services we provide.  The company has grown from 5-10 commercial cleaning clients and 1,000 Resident Based Clients in 2006 to over 80 commercial cleaning sites throughout New Jersey and a Residential Client Base of over 2,500+ homeowners in the Monmouth and Ocean county area.  The success of Quality Care Cleaning is largely based on providing professional and consistent customer service, combined with a low turn over in our cleaning specialists.  He believes in the basic principle of a “hands on” management approach along with a team of skilled professional cleaning specialists to perform daily cleaning and provide exceptional customer service to all of our clients. “One client at a time!”

Diane Penilla​

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS​

As Director of Operations, Diane comes to Quality Care Cleaning with 20+ years of customer service experience in the banking field and 10 years of experience as an office manager of one of the largest home building companies in New Jersey.  She supported the management needs of two division presidents, a chief financial officer and a senior vice president along with a field staff of over 75 associates.  Diane’s management and supervision of our commercial and residential clients demonstrates focus and a strong, direct communication to support our clients current and future cleaning needs.  Homeowners also feel very comfortable and confident that their personal items are in good hands when contacting Diane for service.
